ABSTRACT

Cholesterol granuloma results as a nonspecific tissue reaction to a foreign body-cholesterol crystal, and its clinical nature is usually nondestructive. But on rare occasions, it's difficult cholesterol granuloma differentiate it from malignancy due to its marked destructiveness. The authors have experienced a case of huge cholesterol granuloma accompanied with fibrous dysplastic lesion. The mass was extended to external auditory canal, anteriorly ; to posterior cranial fossa, posteriorly ; and to sigmoid sinus, postero-inferiorly.
