ABSTRACT

Neurilemmoma is characteristically an encapsulated benign tumor originations from the nerve sheath of cranial, sympathetic or peripheral nerves. About 25% of neurilemmoma occurs in head and neck. But neurilemomma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinus is also rarely recorded. Recently, we experienced neurilemmoma of the nasal cavity in a 15 year old female, a 25 year old female and a 57 year old female. Tumors were successfully removed by transnasal(n=2) and external(n=1) approaches under general anesthesia the tumors were histopathologically diagnosed as a neurilemmoma.
