ABSTRACT

Angiosarcomea is an uncommon malignant soft tissue tumor of endothelial cell origin that presents diagnostic difficulty to the clinicians and pathologists. While the scalp is the most commonly involved site in the head and neck, the lesions involving the nasal and sinus cavities are extremely rare. Because of the rarity of this lesion, most otolaryngologists concerned with head and neck oncology have had limited experience with this tumor, and guidelines for therapy are scanty. The authors report a case of recently experineced angiosarcoma of the nasal cavity with a brief review of literature.
