ABSTRACT |
The patient is a 13 year-old female who was admitted to Dept. of E.N.T. of Ewha Women's University Hospital because of profuse purulent otorrhea from the right ear, and disturbance of hearing, since one month and sometimes dizziness with headache for a week. At that time the patient's general condition was moderate and physical examination revealed a pedunculated tumor mass on the superior wall of the right external auditory canal with purulent otorrhea. The patient was operated under the general anesthesia. The mass of tumor was removed with chisel and hammer. The mass showed bone like tumor and a round surface of red whitish color, was measured 0.8×0.3×0.5 cm in size. The postoperative course was satisfactory, and she was discharged on the 7th postoperative day.
