A Case of Papilloma of the Nasal Cavity and the Paranasal Sinuses

ABSTRACT

We have recently experienced a rare case of papilloma of the left maxillary sinus and the nasal cavity which verified histopathologically. The patient was 53 year-old Korean farmer who had been suffering from progressively developed left nasal stuffiness with sero-purulent rhinorrhea, postnasal drip and headache since about 3 years. The patient had having removal surgery as Caldwell-Luc’s operation with good postoperative effect. Regarding literature, papilloma of the nasal cavity and the paranasal sinusus are very rare cases in the clinic. Additionally clinical discussion was carried.
