A Case of Familial Nerve Deafness

ABSTRACT

Recently, the author experienced a case of rare familial nerve deafness in which five members of the family, that is 34 years old mother and her four children (two males and two daughters aged 9 to 17) had inner-ear deafness. The fact that their two maternal undes had been deaf was also known in serial studies of the family. In addition to case presentation, some literally reviews were discussed.
