ABSTRACT

Discussions of tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy in the literature have dealt with the problems of tympanic membrane grafting, ossicular reconstruction and eradication of mastoid disease. Particular attention will be given to the intact canal wall tympanoplasty with mastoidectomy technique, and this paper includes a detailed discussion of technique of surgery, of complication, indication, contraindication, and of reviewing the cases we have done recently.
