ABSTRACT

This is to present a case of extramedullary plasmocytoma, which was successfully treated by surgery. The patient was 67-year-old female with excessive nasal bleeding and almond-sized mass in the left nasal cavity. The mass was surgically removed and histo-pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of extramedullary plasmocytoma. Since the surgical excision of tumor, no evidence of recurrence has been noted for 3 years to date. Extramedullary plasmocytoma is known to be relatively rare condition. Review of the literature and general discussion is presented.
