A Case of Mixed Tumor of the Soft Palate

ABSTRACT

Mixed tumor is the most common tumor of the salivary gland and occurs most frequently in the parotid gland. Occasionally, mixed tumor occurs in the minor salivary glands of the oral cavity. Recently, the author had experienced a case of mixed tumor of the soft palate, which had been removed surgically. Post-operative course was smooth and no evidence of recurrence has been noted so far.
