ABSTRACT

A Case of granulomatous polyp of the larynx following endotracheal anesthesia in a female patient, aged 46 is reported, The patient complained of hoarseness. The patient received left total pneumonectomy under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation about two months prior to the first visit. The indirect laryngoscopy revealed a pea sized, round, reddish, movable, smooth surfaced mass on the posterior part of the right vocal cord. The mass was removed with a laryngeal forceps under the direct laryngoscopy. The histopathological diagnosis was confirmed as a granuloma.
