ABSTRACT |
Recently, author has experienced a rare entity of neurilemmoma of the tongue. Neurilemmoma is a relatively rare disase and about 25% of it occurs on the head and neck portion and very rarely on the tongue. The patient was a 28 year-old male who had noticed gradual swelling on the left side of tongue with complaints of dysphagia, anorexia, for about 3 years of duration. The tumor was successfully removed the local anesthesia and was verified, histologically, as a neurilemmoma of the tongue.
