The Treatment of 5 Cases of Laryngeal Papilloma with 5-Fluorouracil Spray

ABSTRACT

Laryngeal papilloma is one of beneign tumors in larynx which remains a difficulty clinical and social problem. It may entail grave consquenies and may in adult turn to malignancy especially the tendency to frequent recurrence is troublesome. The etiology of this condition is so for unkown. The treatment of laryngeal papilloma has been considered various method but not satisfactory. This report is base on 5 cases of laryngeal papilloma of childfood which was removed and spraied around the operated region, under the direct laryngoscopy after tracheostomy. Following one month, daily spraied the 5-Fluorouracil by direct laryngoscopy. Here we presented rather excellent result with 5 Fluorouracil spray.
