ABSTRACT

Allergy affects many patients who visit to E.N.T. department. Most allergic individuals are potential food sensitive patient. Therefore every physician should be on the alert to detect its occurrence and when indicated, to make or have made, the specific diagnosis. There is no single diagnostic test that is 100% accurate. Therefore the diagnosis of Food Allergy, once suspected, is to be made on several coordinated procedures. This report dealed with the provocative food test, one of several diagnostic procedures, which based upon the first report of HERBERT. J. RINKEL in 1963 and used in our P.M.C. E.N.T. department since september 1976.
