A Case of Primary Maxillary Sinus Squamous Cell Carcinoma in a 9 Aged Female Child

ABSTRACT

Cancer of the maxillary sinus is a fatal disease with rare in its incidency, especially in children. And the cure rate is still low because the disease begins in a silent area and similar with chronic sinusitis in its course. We experienced a case of squamous cell carcinoma arised on the maxillary sinus in a 9 aged female child, who had C.C. of cheek swelling, nasal stuffiness, purulent rhinorrhea with high fever elevation. We report this case of tumor with literature reference.
