A Case of Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Middle Ear

ABSTRACT

Malignant tumors of the external auditory canal or middle ear are relatively rare, of which some occurring in the external auditory canal extend to the middle ear and othors primarily occur in the middle ear, and the latter are known to be rarer. But in an advanced case it is difficult to accurately say its primary site of the tumor. Recently the authors has experienced a rare case of squamous cell carcinoma of the middle ear and report on this case with literature review.
