ABSTRACT

Authors sent enquetes conserning problems of prograduate course to 80 members of domestic clinical staffs in medical schools in October, 1979, and analyzed the 45 repliers in the view point of following aspects ; the previous and present status and the improvement of postgraduate courses. The results were as follows ; 1. While it should be avoided that all physicians have to be conferred Ph. D. degree, it is desirable to carry out a plan for the consolidation of quality as physician as well as the restriction of Ph. D. course. 2. The postgraduate couse should be improved for all physicians to participate in adequate research programs because it has been carried out under the incomplete condition of education. 3. It is desirable that all physicians shoud be trained in order to perform clinical practice and research program after finishing hospital training by participating in research programs during the hospital training course.
