| ABSTRACT |

Various methods were reported for the treatment of hiccups, but the pathological physiology of hiccups remains largely unknown. The author experienced a case of hiccup, which was occurred in a 43 year old male patient, was cured incidentally by aspiration of middle ear secretion.
