ABSTRACT

Foreign body in tracheobronchial tract is frequently observed as one of the accidental cases in the otolaryngologic field. A 7-year old girl visited to our hospital under an impression of foreign body in the airway. X-ray finding of the chest showed a thumb tack which was lodged in the left main broncus with mediastinal emphysema. The foreign body was successfully removed through bronchoscopy under general anesthesia.
