ABSTRACT

The patients with vertigo and dysequilibrium are so significantly increasing today, that clinicians often deal with these kinds of cases at many departments. A number of those patients have been treated only by symptomatic therapy, not affecting the life. But, some of them showed the symptoms as the alarm sign of early stage of severe diseases. The authors experienced the case of nasopharyngeal malignant tumor involving the central vestibular system identified with neurootological examination, who chiefly complained vertigo, equilibrium disturbance and hearing loss. So, we report this case with review of the literatures.
