A Case of Otic Hydrocephalus

ABSTRACT

Otic hydrocephalus is one of the less common intracranial complication of middle ear disease, which was described by C.P.Symonds in 1931. It is characteristic that it has elevated intracranial pressure without change in composition of CSF. And clinical symptom is that of headache, nausea, blurred vision and eye ball deviation. The prognosis for recovery is fairly good and rare reports of recurrence do exist. Authors experienced a case of otic hydrocephalus which was found in 21 year old male sufferred from OMPC with cholesteatoma. So, we reported the one case with review of literature.
