A Case of Malignant Mixed Tumor of Parotid Gland

ABSTRACT

The malignant mixed tumor is very rare. Its common site is parotid gland. Recently, the authors have experienced a case of malignant mixed tumor, located at the total lobe of parotid gland in a 66 year old woman. The total parotidectomy of right parotid gland was performed and tumor mass was completely removed under general anesthesia. The dimension of tumor mass was 11×15×4cm. The histopathological studies of the specimen was confirmed as malignant mixed tumor.
