ABSTRACT

Hemangioma is rather common tumor and most frequently involves the skin anywhere. Hemangiomas, however, of the nose, pharynx and larynx are rare and even rarer is such a type of venous hemangioma. A 20 years old male was admitted to our department with chief complaints of slow growing, non-tender, rubbery mass on dorsum nasi for about 13 years. Complete extirpation of mass was carried out and microscopic examination of the surgical specimen revealed a venous type of hemangioma. Postoperative course was mildly troublesome with wound disruption, but relatively smooth and nowadays, he is waiting for Forehead flap operation and Reconstruction of nasal framework.
