ABSTRACT

A retrospective analysis of 21 basal cell carcinomas(BCCs) which were treated by Mohs micrographic surgery(MMS) from 1990 to 1993 at Dong-A University Hospital revealed the usefulness of MMS, especially with recurrent and/or not less than 1cm-sized tumors. All the surgical defects after MMS could be repaired immediately and there was no recurrence during follow-up period ranging from 6 to 26 months.
