A Case of Capillary Hemangioma of the Middle Ear

ABSTRACT

Hemangiomas are benign lesions that can potentially occur in any vascularized tissue. Hemangiomas arising from the middle ear is rare. These lesions, though benign, can cause significant morbidity and can easily be mistaken for more common vascular lesions of the middle ear. The authors report a case of capillary hemangioma of the middle ear in a 58-year old woman with review of literatures.
