A Case of Macroglossia Resulted from Hemangioma

ABSTRACT

Macroglossia or unusual enlargement of tongue is very rare disease and most of it comes from congenital origin. Congenital macroglossia generally resulted from lymphangioma, hemangioma, and idiopathically. Recently, the authors experienced one case of macroglossia which is resulted from hemangioma in a 18 years old male. It was confirmed by histological examination after surgical excision of the tongue.
