ABSTRACT

Malignant Lymphoma is a neoplastic proliferation of lymphoreticular systems and common sites are the Waldeyer's ring and cervical lymph nodes. Malignant lymphoma of nasal cavity is extremly rare, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is the most frequent non-epithelial malignany arising in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinus. As malignant tumors of the nose and paranasal sinus are difficult to make early diagnosis, the tumors has often reached an advanced stage when treatment begins, reducing the possibilities of curative treatment. Careful observation and histopathologic examination is essential for early diagnosis and treatment. Either early and progressive states of the disease are well responded to radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy when compared to other cancers. The authors reported 8 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma arising from nasal cavity and paranasal sinus diagnosed by the histologic and immunohistochemical methods with review of the literatures.
