ABSTRACT

We present 48-year-old man and 51-year-old woman with a angioleiomyoma of larynx. Chief complains were discomfort during swallowing and dyspnea in man and voice change in woman. The tumors were successfully removed with CO2 laser via direct laryngoscopy. Histological examination revealed that the tumor parenchyma was composed of proliferated fibers that consisted of elongated cell, surrounded by an abundance of blood vessels. Its complete removal is the treatment of choice with care taken to avoid profuse bleeding. Recurrence is rare.
