| ABSTRACT |
|
Solitary fibrous tumor, so-called fibrous mesothelioma, is a neoplasm that occurs most frequently in adults as a circumscribed pleural-based mass, and less commonly in relation to other serosal surfaces. However, this neoplasm occurs rarely in the absence of mesothelial cells and involves upper respiratory tract including nasal cavity. Recently, the authors have experienced a case of solitary fibrous tumor in the nasal cavity which was treated successfully with midfacial degloving approach. We present a case with review of the literatures.
