A case of salivary duct carcinoma of the Stensen's duct.

ABSTRACT

Salivary duct carcinoma arising from main excretory duct of the parotid gland (Stensen's duct) is the very rate incidence of carcinoma among the parotid tumors. Histopathologically, it resembles that of duct carcinoma of the breast, so it is named ""salivary duct"" carcinoma and its biologic behavior is highly aggressive. Recently, the authors have experienced a case of salivary duct carcinoma, which was arised from Stensen's duct and reported with review of literatures.
