Pseudotumor oculi is one of the rare diseases to the otolaryngologists. It is suspected when clinical features are exophthalmos, periocular pain, chemosis and lid swelling. The soft tissue density is found in the simple projection and CT typically. The pathologic review reveals benign lymphoid hyperplasia or cell infiltration with necrotizing vasculitis. The response to steroid therapy is marked. Thirteen patients of pseudotumor oculi, who had visited Department of Otolaryngology, Seoul National University Hospital form January 1981 till January 1991 were analyzed. The radiologic findings including CT and the pathologic pictures were presented. Most of the patients were improved markedly with steroid therapy.
