ABSTRACT

This is the report of 2 cases of cured noma, which has been very rare and acutely necrotising disease of oral mucosa and bony structures with high mortality rate. These cases were both very poor nutrition and poor higienic environment(orphan) and the condition was occurred after measles and febrile disease. But systemic fluids, nutritions, especially vitamin C, antibiotics of any kind and local treatments including sterilization and excision made complete cure the disease. Here we are sure that the mortality rate of this disease can be reduced to a minimum.
