Objective Tinnitus (Report of Two Cases)

ABSTRACT

Two cases of objective tinnitus are reported. The first case was a seventeen year-old, Korean girl, with ear noise in her left ear, which characterized by a pulsating and synchronous with her heart beat. The noise was audible by examiner through stethoscope. The second case was a seven year-old, Korean girl, with clicks in her left ear, characterized by a series of sharp and regular and it could be heard by examiner within 10-20cm distance. In both cases, no apparent pathology of the ears could be detected, and the hearing seemed to be not affected. The cause, treatment, and prognosis are reviewed and discussed.
