| ABSTRACT |
|
The patient was a 19 year-old male having had long standing otitis media on the left since childhood. Roentgenological and other clinical studies established the presence of cholesteatoma complicated by brain abscess. The abscess at the left temporal lobe was well drained through the mastoid and well healed.
