ABSTRACT

Lymphangioma of the tongue is considered to be a rare tumor that frequently occurs in children or young adults, and this report is one on a recent case found at our clinic. A 19-year old male entered the hospital complaining of a thumb-sized mass on the right lateral side of the tongue with foreign body sensation. The tumor mass was then excised under local anesthesta. Post operative course was satisfactory and no disturbance of tongue movement was noted.
