A Case of Familial Nerve Deafness

ABSTRACT

Recently, the author experienced a case of familial nerve deafness which was affected in 7 members with severe degree of hearing loss. By serial studies, the case was presented hereditary disease resulting in bilateral perceptive hearing loss as a dominant character. The vestibular function test and the X-ray study of a temporal bone was revealed no specific finding.
