The Authors experienced recently a case of rare middle ear carcinoma. A 21-year-old young man effected with O.M.P.C. for last 15 years, was admitted at Jan-21 '70 with complaints of severs headache, otalgia (left), dizziness and retroauricular swelling, developed gradually since 6 months ago. X-ray findings of the mastoid region compared with that of 6 months ago showed dense sclerosing change at left mastoid region with large radiolucent area. The lesion was removed possibly by radical mastoidectomy and biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma. Postop. Co⁶⁰ therapy was done and at last this patient was dead.
