ABSTRACT

A woman aged thirty three had had hardly any complaints except for the sense of foreign body in the tongue for eleven months. Examination of the tongue revealed a thumb-tip-sized smooth mass arising in the middle one-third portion of it. The tumor was dissected free with ease. Histologically the mass was proved to be neurilemoma of Antoni type A. Her postoperative condition had been uneventful.
