ABSTRACT

A Korean girl, aged 18 years old, was found to be affected with a hemangioendothelioma of the right nasal cavity. The right nasal cavity was completely obstructed with a mass of tendency forward epistaxis. Under the local anesthesia, this mass was removed by surgical resection but soon after growed again as its original size. The patient was irradiated with a coblat 60 therapy for 25 days. Thereafter that tumor disappeared completely, and is well until about 4 months after the beginning of cobalt 60 therapy.
