ABSTRACT |
Myasthenia Gravis is characterized by weakness that has special characteristics : predilection for ocular and other cranial muscles ; tendency to fluctuate during brief periods of observation ; without signs of neural lesion, and partial reversibility by the administration of cholinergic drug. The etiology of Myasthenia Gravis is not known. But it is generally believed to be an autoimmune disorder. Recently we had experienced a case of Myasthenia Gravis with the complaints of nasal regurgitation of food, speech disturbance and swallowing difficulty in a 37 year old male who had had remarkable response to Neostigmine test. So we report this case of Myasthenia Gravis with review of literatures. |
