ABSTRACT

Malignant melanoma is one of the most dangerous form of neoplasm, but the incidence of these tumors in the nasal cavity or paranasal sinuses, in relation to those of the whole body, is very low. Since Viennois had reported the first case of malignant melanoma of the nose in 1872, occasional reports were found in Western literatures. But only a few cases were reported in Korea. A case of primary malignant melanoma in the nasal cavity of 31 years old male patient was reported and discussed with the review of literatures.
