Localized tuberculosis of the nose is very rare among total cases of tuberculosis. A 14 year-old Korean girl visited to our E.N.T. Dept. on July 20, 1979, with chief complaints of nasal obstruction & dryness, mass of left nasal vestibule, frequent episode of nasal bleeding, and headache for 7 months. On physical examination, nose was revealed purple-brownish polyp like tumor mass was noted on the left upper portion of anterior nasal vestibule. The other ulcerative lesion was extended to a part of face and nasolabial region. Radiologic finding of chest was calcification of both hilar and X-ray of P.N.S. showed normal finding. AFB stain was negative but Mantoux test positive, and STS revealed negative. Under the topical Anesthesia, tumor mass was surgically removed, and measuring size of the mass was 2×1.5×1cm, which I.N.H., PAS, and SM for 3months and local treatment. After 3 months local lesion was clear with scanty scales and epithelial stricture.
