A Case of Neurofibroma in Larynx

ABSTRACT

Neurofibroma is uncommon tumor, which is originating from endoneurial matrix with thickening, degeneration and tortuoisty of the nerve. Neurogenic tumor of the larynx comprise the Schwannoma and neurofibroma, which are very rarely reported about 100 cases in world literature. Recently, the author experienced of a case of laryngeal neurofibroma, revealed slowly growing and throat discomfortness for several years, was removed successfully through external approach under general anesthesia.
