ABSTRACT

Tuberculosis of the nose and nasopharynx is mainly by secondary infection to pulmonary tuberculosis via contagious, hematogenous or lymphogenous routes. Primary infection to nose and nasopharynx is rare but possible when they lost their self-cleansing mechanism and lysosomal activity. We recently have experienced two cases of primary tuberculosis of the nose and nasopharynx, so reported them with review of literature.
