ABSTRACT

The osseous choristoma of the tongue is extremely rare, and only about 29 cases were reported in the world literatures, Recently a case of heterotrophic osseous tissue was encountered arisen from the tongue, in a 42 years old male. Histopathological study showed a mature, lamellated osseous tissue, that is osseous choristoma. This paper was attempted to report the case with brief review of literatures.
