ABSTRACT |
The term choristoma is applied to microscopically normal cells or tissues that are present in abnormal location. The choristoma in the oral cavity is rare disease. Recently a case of cartilaginous choristoma attached to the right posterior tonsillar pillar in oral cavity was encountered in the 2 year and 7 month old girl. Histopathological study showed hyaline cartilage, smooth muscle, fat, mucous gland. This paper was attempted to report the case with a brief review of literature.
