ABSTRACT

The neurilemmoma is a benign tumor derived from nerve sheath of any nerve of whole body. The 25% of total cases occur in the head and neck area. The acoustic neurilemmoma is the most common in the otolaryngologic fields. However, the neurilemmoma arising from paranasal sinuses is very rare. Recently, the authors have experienced a case of neurilemmoma of ethmoid sinus which was removed by intranasal approach under local anesthesia and verified for neurilemmoma.
