ABSTRACT

Congenital laryngeal cleft is a rare anomaly, which can cause serious problems of airway obstruction and repeated aspiration with resultant bouts of pneumonia. Detection of an unsuspected case may be difficult and requires a high index of suspicion and accurate endoscopic evaluation. We experienced a case of laryngeal cleft in a male infant, which was primarily repaired by laryngofissure approach.
