ABSTRACT |
Warthin's tumor of the parotid gland is known as papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum or adenolymphoma. Warthin's tumor, classed as a monomorphic adenoma, ranks second to pleomorphic adenoma in the incidence of benign neoplasm of the parotid gland. Warthin's tumor is the most common multifocal parotid tumor. Wathin's tumor have been reported to occur as bilateral and/or multiple unilateral tumors. Over the past 10 years several reports have shown the incidence of Warthin's tumor in the parotid gland to have increased so that this tumor constitutes 14% to 30% of parotid neoplams. We present a case of Warthin's tumor occurring in each parotid gland.
