Upper respiratory tract tuberculosis was common in the past and usually associated with active pulmonary tuberculosis. Recent advances in chemotherapy reduce the incidence of upper respiratory tract tuberculosis to such a degree that it is usually forgotten when the differential diagnosis of upper tuberculosis to such a considered. Early diagnosis is important because, once recognized, tuberculosis infection of the upper respiratory tract may be readily eredicated by medical treatment. Tuberculosis infection arising in nasal cavity is known as a rare disease, and mainly by secondary infection to pulmonary tuberculosis via contagious, hematogeneous or lymphatic routes. We recently experienced two cases of primary tuberculosis arising in nasal cavity, so we reported them with review of literatures.
