ABSTRACT |
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the tachea is very rare and characterized as insidious course, perineural invasion and submucosal extension. It often recurs and is capable of preducing distant mestastasis over a period of many years. Recently the authors experienced a 27 year old female patient who was carried out tracheal resection and end to end anastomosis of the trachea with suprahyoid release. So, the authors report it with review of literatures.
